Quinn Hughes is entering his first full season with the Minnesota Wild — and it’s also his final year under contract. While he’s open about wanting to play with his brothers in New Jersey, he’s clearly happy where he is and trusts GM Bill Guerin to handle any roster moves. With Kaprizov’s late extension as precedent, Hughes isn’t rushing things — and he’s confident Guerin’s got this. The Wild kick off preseason against Chicago on Sept. 19 — and fans are watching closely for contract updates.
