One of the greatest gifts of leaving a high demand religion has been feeling the depth of love and connection to my empathy and humanity greatly increase.  In this episode, I talk about my experience with spiritual crisis that occured after leaving Mormonism and doing psychedelics, but how this direct experience with the darkness connected me to a deeper level of empathy and love than I ever felt in Mormonism.
