Rosie sits down, in front of a live audience, with the surgeon who told her she had breast cancer and later performed her double mastectomy and reconstruction. Mr Ullah, a consultant oncoplastic breast surgeon at Whipps Cross Hospital, part of Barts Health NHS Trust, answers five questions:
1. Lumpectomy or mastectomy: how do you choose?
2. What are the symptoms, and how often should you check?
3. Is breast cancer rising in young women?
4. Does everyone need radiotherapy?
5. What is triple negative breast cancer, and how is it treated?
Rosie also tells the story of the day she cried on hearing she did not need radiotherapy, and describes living with the fear that cancer will come back.
