Max Greyserman surged into a tie for the lead at the Biltmore Championship after an electrifying 7-under 64, his first competitive round in five weeks—and possibly his last chance to keep his PGA Tour card. Facing pressure and fresh off a family trip to Italy, Greyserman found freedom on a rain-soaked, brand-new course where no bad memories could haunt him. Meanwhile, veteran Eric Cole, chasing his first win and already locked into next year’s majors, matched him with a stellar score in his 131st tour start. With seven top players headed to the Presidents Cup and the FedEx Cup Fall looming, this historic return to the Blue Ridge Mountains might just be the turning point both men needed.
