Dom Torres and Kyla Denanyoh overanalyze The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 10, Episode 1, where Karen Huger returns with a new outlook on life, Wendy Osefo faces serious legal trouble, and the newest Housewife arrives with a seven-foot-tall husband and eyelashes that deserve their own confessional.
It’s Kyla’s first trip to Potomac, and she’s immediately impressed. With a beautiful cast, international business connections, and the DMV's political power, there’s plenty to explore. Dom, a longtime Potomac enthusiast, is thrilled to introduce Kyla to the Grand Dame, the Green-Eyed Bandits, and a cast that knows how to keep a storyline moving.
First, there’s Wendy. Kyla initially finds her exhausting until she realizes they share an unfortunate habit: aggressively advocating for friends who haven’t requested legal representation. However, Wendy’s actual legal situation is considerably more complicated. Dom breaks down the fraud allegations against Wendy and Eddie, while Kyla explains why separate attorneys make sense. And why is Wendy giving her husband the emotional energy of a woman casually dating around?
Meanwhile, Karen returns from prison with sobriety, fabulous hair, and a marriage that may not recognize its newest participant. Her observation that Ray doesn’t like his new wife fascinates Kyla, who appreciates the complexity behind such a simple statement.
Then there’s newcomer Courtney, whose towering husband intrigues Kyla almost as much as her dramatic eyelashes. Dom is withholding judgment until he learns more about her beliefs. The eyebrows, however, are already under review by Dom Torres and Kyla Denanyoh.
From Stacey’s commercial-ready confessionals to Ashley’s boyfriend apparently working at the basketball arena, Potomac is delivering. Kyla is officially invested, Dom is delighted, and neither is prepared to stop overanalyzing.
