Jane Ballantyne and Kathleen Sluka, about the past 50 years of pain research in the journal PAIN. From a new article type, to tributes to the past Editors-in-Chief of the journal, and a custom painting from a former Section Editor adorning the cover, the journal is greatly appreciative of the hard work that the Editorial Board has done to elevate the journal to the prestigious position it is in now.
