The novels opened the doors to Ravenshade House, but they could never show every room.
In this episode, Lady Aurelia introduces the expanded Ravenshade universe and explains how the podcast will now explore the places, objects, histories, and stories that exist beyond the boundaries of the books. Here, correspondence can become an entire story. A forgotten object can expose a family secret. A perfume can carry the memory of a woman who has been gone for decades. A tarot card can reveal the emotional architecture of a character. A scandal can be examined not merely for what happened, but for what it reveals about power, reputation, gender, class, and the families determined to preserve their version of the truth.
Lady Aurelia opens the door to private letters, hidden family histories, artifacts, whispered scandals, old photographs, unsent apologies, unanswered invitations, locked drawers, forgotten names, and the quiet pieces of evidence people leave behind while trying to control how they will be remembered. She also introduces the idea that some future Ravenshade stories may never appear in the novels at all. They may exist only in the podcast, in music, in journals, in fragrance, or in the objects that survive long after the people who once owned them are gone.
Ravenshade House is no longer simply a backdrop. It is an archive of memory, desire, betrayal, survival, and consequence. And now, for the first time, listeners are being invited into the rooms the books could not show them. 🖤📜🗝️
