The information presented in this episode of Sticks and Stones Emergency Preparedness is for educational and entertainment purposes only.
Todays episode discusses coronal mass ejections, geomagnetic storms, electromagnetic pulses and basic electromagnetic shielding.
The purpose isn't to predict a catastrophe or create fear.
it is to help you understand potential disruptions and think about practical steps you can take to make yourself, your family, and your equipment more resilient.
No preparation can guarantee that equipment will survive a major electromagnetic event.
And as always.
Use common sense and consult qualified professionals when dealing with electrical systems.
