After some last minute travel I am excited to release Skye’s story!
Imagine always having the running joke between your siblings about you being what they call the “Fed Ex Baby”? Skye shares how close she is with her raised siblings and how she found out her Dad wasn’t her biological father.
For some of us we must immediately confront our mothers, while others sit on it for a bit to process, then confront our mothers. And as Skye shares she was working on the communications with new found family while on her honeymoon, imagine trying to process all of this while on your honeymoon!
Skye describes a “Non-living” state of mind while she was trying to figure this all out, I felt this, I knew exactly what the feeling was. Skye allowed herself to take the time she needed away from both her mom and dad, allowing herself to do the work needed.
Family dynamic, we all have it and we don’t know other family’s dynamic, even if we are related by DNA and it’s ok to take your time to connect with your new found family, there is no expectation for anyone. Go at your own pace.
