Kath Bergamin was thirty seven. She had married at eighteen and spent nineteen years on a tobacco farm sixty kilometres up the King Valley, raising three children, working the property, and telling a small number of trusted people that her husband had said she would never get off it alive.
On the 29th of May 2002, she escaped it.
This is the story of the eleven weeks that followed, the last eleven weeks of Kath Bergamin's life.
