25 years ago, three men changed the world forever. I met one of them three years before he did it.
On this episode of Broadcast Team Alpha, I sit down with investigative journalist and civilian intelligence analyst Robert Morningstar for one of the most jaw-dropping 9/11 conversations we've ever recorded. Robert says he shook hands with hijacker Mohamed Atta at a party in Hamburg, Germany in 1998 — three years before Atta piloted a plane into the World Trade Center — and later assisted the FBI in tracking the Al-Qaeda cell operating out of that same city.
Recorded during the week of the 25th anniversary of September 11th, and featuring live footage from the historic "Turning the Tide: 9/11 – 25 Years Later" conference in New York City, this episode goes far beyond the official 9/11 Commission Report.
