Is RGIII making an NFL comeback? Former Heisman Trophy winner, NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, and Pro Bowl quarterback Robert Griffin III joins Mystic Zach Hirsch on Double Coverage to reveal that multiple NFL teams have contacted him about a potential return, along with ongoing interest from the UFL.
RGIII doesn’t hold back as he calls out Micah Parsons over his social media activity and in-season podcasting, questions the Green Bay Packers’ direction, and shares a personal story about Andrew Luck snubbing his Heisman Trophy celebration. He also reflects on his career-altering injuries in Washington, his relationship with Lamar Jackson, and what might have happened had he been drafted by the Indianapolis Colts.
The conversation also dives into Caleb Williams and Ben Johnson turning the Chicago Bears into Super Bowl contenders, Brock Purdy being an elite NFL quarterback, Bijan Robinson’s dominance, and RGIII’s bold prediction that Jeremiah Smith could become the greatest wide receiver in NFL history.
Plus, RGIII explains why Arch Manning should stay in college, reveals that Michigan offered him a coaching position to work with Bryce Underwood, discusses the Philadelphia Eagles’ struggles, and shares his thoughts on the biggest stories across college football and the NFL.
