After a brief reorientation some go through, and the soul cleansing, you are light, boundless and fully aware. You enter a life review. But it's not a judgment from some distant deity or angel. YOU are the judge in this state of non-local consciousness. You can feel every emotion that you ever caused in others. The warmth of your kindness. The sting of your words. You aren't being punished. You're being educated as to the total sum of the truth of your impact. Think of it like reviewing your teacher's comments on an essay she hands back to you, is constructive criticism for your learning. And from there, you move into the higher astral planes of pure thought, where frequency is everything. You gravitate towards soul groups--the dozen or more beings who you share your resonance with and who have been with you across countless incarnations. You'll reconnect and analyze the life you just finished with those who played the roles of your parents, partners, even your rivals. The afterlife is also a place of intense study. You may visit the Hall of Learning or great libraries to understand the complex mechanics of the universe and the multidimensional reality you just left. You might explore the Akashic Records, a cosmic repository of every thought and action that has ever occurred, and even the paths not taken. Ultimately, you stay in this state of bliss and expanded awareness until you've integrated your lessons. You remain there until you're ready to design your next mission. Death is simply the moment the actor leaves the stage, goes backstage to change clothes, and starts planning the next great performance. You are eternal. And you are simply going home.
