On this week's Golf Live, Trey and Justin break down Michael Brennan's win at the Baycurrent Classic in Japan, his third PGA Tour title in 33 starts. They explain why so many talented young players have no major championship, and how Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy dominating the majors has shaped that gap. Then they rank the best players in golf under 26, including Koivun, Brennan, Tom Kim, Akshay Bhatia and Michael Thorbjornsen, and make their picks for who wins a major first.
The show also covers the new PGA Tour cards from the Corn Ferry Tour Championship, including Blades Brown, Tommy Morrison and Doc Redman. Trey and Justin react to the latest on LIV Golf 2.0, the DP World Tour's stance on LIV players, and what it means for the 2027 season. Keith Mitchell's strong finish in Japan also gets its own segment.
In the viewer Q&A, Trey and Justin answer your questions on how players will prepare for the 2028 Championship Series and Challenger Series, whether Brennan or Koivun wins a major first, Blades Brown reaching the PGA Tour at 19, Adam Hadwin's self-called penalty, and whether LIV could have built a sustainable league.
