Dancing With the Stars Season 35 is already messy, salty, and a little suspicious. We recap the two-night premiere and Viral Hits Night: Conner Leavitt (yes, Whitney Leavitt’s husband) getting sent home first after a shaky salsa, Connor Wood still hanging on with Rylee Arnold, and a text-in-only vote that felt built to confuse people the second two guys named Connor hit the ballot. Internet voting was down, last-name letters got thrown out, and the judges were already talking like they knew who was staying. Night one of the guys did not have Robert Irwin energy. Night two, the women cleaned up.
Viral Hits Night brought the leaderboard shakeup and the shade. Ciara Miller’s “No Broke Boys” number turned into a Wes Wilson moment, Giada De Laurentiis went home after a 12/30 salsa, and a three-way tie at 21 put Jenna Dewan and Val, Ezra Frech and Daniella Karagach, and Amber Glenn and Pasha Pashkov on top. Maura Higgins and Mark Ballas are right there with the scores, the Traitors chemistry, and the likability to win it. Julia Stiles still has the early-2000s nostalgia wave if she grows in the ballroom.
Salty news roundup: Hulu’s The Mob, from the Traitors producers and hosted by Parker Posey, drops October 26, 2026 with Joe Gorga, Bruno Tonioli, Demi Engemann, Chelsea Lazkani, Harry Jowsey, Aida Turturro, and a $250K pot that has us side-eyeing inflation next to old-school Survivor money. PK Kemsley is now asking Dorit for $581 a month in child support after she came for $40K. And Wes Wilson and Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia are both joining Netflix’s Million Dollar Secret, which is either chaotic television or a direct message to Amanda. We said what we said.
