Today we will be looking at something a little different, specifically, how the United States, and the seeds of modern-day democracy from here, influenced the French Revolution, and as such, this episode will be a little shorter than some of the others.

We will look at three of the main men who influenced the French Declaration of the Rights of Man and the Citizen of 1789, the Marquis de Lafayette, Thomas Jefferson, and Thomas Paine.
