Dallas Wings rookie Azzi Fudd’s season ended early after arthroscopic knee surgery, but she’s mentally strong and believes the move was necessary to protect her long-term health. Despite being the No. 1 draft pick and averaging over 13 points per game—including a dazzling All-Star three-point shootout win—Fudd’s knee pain flared again, forcing her off the court. The Wings, locked in a playoff spot for the first time since 2023 and riding a four-game win streak, now face a pivotal moment without their star. Fudd, who starred alongside Paige Bueckers at UConn, remains committed to supporting her team from the sidelines as they aim for a deep postseason run.
