On the road south, a lone call from the hillside reveals a trap: Billy and a band of high goblins step out to claim the Dark Razor. What follows is a brutal roadside fight, with DagGar’s lightning, Cair’s battlefield cunning, Farthen’s axe, Sharael’s steel, and Cullen’s hard-won survival all tested at once.
But the worst moment comes after the battle.
When a wounded goblin flees, Cullen orders mercy. Cair refuses. The act cracks open everything that has been building between them. In the aftermath, Cair denounces Cullen’s authority, calls Sharael an impostor, and openly demands the Razor for himself.
