There are moments that change everything. The International Tennis Hall of Fame's Road to Newport series will take you behind the milestones that shaped Roger Federer's remarkable career as he approaches Hall of Fame induction this August.

In the first installment, we go back to 2001 when at age 19, Roger Federer walked onto Centre Court to face one of his role models in Pete Sampras, and walked off having announced himself to the tennis world. It was the start of a journey that would shape tennis history.
