The Rams’ defense took a brutal hit last week, with key linebackers Nate Landman and Omar Speights sidelined—creating a golden opportunity for Shaun Dolac. Undrafted in 2025 and overlooked due to his size, Dolac proved his worth with a gritty, aggressive performance against the 49ers, recording six tackles and showing elite athleticism that belies his measurables. Rising from walk-on to All-American in college, Dolac’s journey is one of relentless hustle—and now, with starters hurt, he’s poised to seize a bigger role. Coach McVay may hesitate to bench proven players, but with injuries on the field, it’s time to give Dolac the spotlight he’s earned.
