His name was Sergei Ponomarenko.
According to the story, police found photographs on his camera that shouldn’t have existed — including images allegedly taken decades before he appeared. Then the mystery became even stranger when investigators tracked down a woman who claimed she once knew him… before he vanished without explanation.
