First and foremost, I know this statement is for those terminally online people who probably just need to take a walk every day and leave their phone at home. That said, I want to make it clear that I am not a fan of generative AI for art. Early in our first season, I used AI assets for marketing and thumbnails. It was a different time when we launched the show, and I didn't know the full extent of these companies' evil. Also, the environmental impact of data centers was not transparent. Since then, I’ve done my best to strip out any AI materials in our historical episodes and replace them with royalty-free items or assets from my paid Envato license. If I missed some stuff in the wild, so be it; I’m a busy dad who works and uses his free time to create a show for people to enjoy at no cost.
