An enormous weekend on the Gold Coast as several records drop including Izzi Batt ripping the half and the Australian male marathon record being eclipsed by 2 seconds! We discuss that, as well as the iconic Prefontaine Classic in Oregon where Cam Myers became the first Aussie to win the 1,500m plus plenty more of the favourites.
We’re also joined for the full episode by special guest, Cougar Lutze. Cougar left a career in architecture in Australia to move to Africa to build Yara Academy, a youth academy for running and academics in Tanzania - the first of its kind. We learn all about what Cougar is up to and and he joins us for the full episode to share more about his running.
