A hostage negotiation unfolds through a series of recorded voicemail messages, carefully managed and initially controlled. What begins as a structured exchange soon reveals inconsistencies beneath the surface - shifting details, mounting pressure, and a growing sense that the situation is not as contained as it first appeared.
As the messages progress, control begins to fracture. The negotiation destabilises, exposing cracks in both the process and the people behind it, until the situation reaches a point of no clear resolution.
