Dancing and community have become a huge part of Sonya’s life since she first walked through the doors of Ceroc Inspire just one year ago.
In this episode of the Dance Inspiration Podcast, Sonya joins Liz and Mark again to catch up on just how much has changed since her first appearance.
From growing in confidence on the dance floor to becoming part of the Ceroc Inspire taxi team, helping beginners, taking refresher sessions and getting involved behind the scenes, Sonya has become a familiar part of our dance community.
She talks about the workshops and experiences that have helped develop her dancing, learning to lead as well as follow, discovering Silc and receiving feedback from Lyndsey Hill and Tim Stevens.
We also chat about what could come next. Sonya is beginning to explore the possibility of Ceroc teacher training, gaining more experience and continuing to push herself outside her comfort zone.
And for anyone who has ever wondered whether they could dance, Sonya shares some lovely thoughts about confidence, trying something new and why sometimes you simply have to do it anyway.
A catch up about Ceroc, dancing, confidence, friendship, community and just how much can change in one year.
