We had the pleasure of sitting down with Esther Weaver from True You once again for another incredible conversation! This time, we dove into the effects of Adam versus the finished work of Jesus and what that means for humanity today.

For so long, much of Christianity has placed its emphasis on what happened through Adam, often giving more attention to the fall than to what was accomplished through Christ. But what happens when we begin to see the magnitude of what Jesus has done? If Adam’s disobedience had an effect on all humanity, how much greater is the obedience of Jesus? We unpacked Romans 5, the reality of our identity in Christ, and why the finished work of Jesus is far greater than the fall of Adam.

Of course, that was just one of the many things we discussed! We covered so much ground in this conversation, challenging some familiar perspectives and taking a deeper look at the goodness of God, the heart of the Father, and the beautiful reality of what Christ has accomplished.

Adam doesn’t get the final word over humanity. Jesus does.
