Elon Musk Biography Flash a weekly Biography.

Elon Musk is back in trillionaire territory. According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, his fortune jumped by about 65 billion dollars on Monday to roughly 1.04 trillion, propelled by rallies in SpaceX and Tesla. Bloomberg attributes more than 98 percent of Musk’s wealth to those two companies, making the rebound a vivid reminder that his biography remains tightly tied to volatile private and public markets.

The immediate catalyst was SpaceX. CNBC reports that its shares climbed almost eight percent, reaching their highest level since June, after a successful crewed NASA mission and a separate launch carrying Google artificial intelligence chips into orbit. Morgan Stanley analysts called SpaceX attractively valued and pointed to Starship progress, future artificial intelligence products, and cloud computing opportunities. Tesla also benefited from better than expected third quarter vehicle deliveries.

Musk is simultaneously expanding the industrial ambitions of his empire. Ground News reports that he confirmed discussions with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company about joining Terafab, a planned Tesla SpaceX chip venture in Texas. The reported first phase carries an investment of 16.8 billion dollars and is intended to supply chips for Optimus robots, Cybercabs, and space based data centers. The TSMC participation remains only a discussion, not a completed deal.

On X, Musk announced that SpaceXAI, the company’s artificial intelligence division, will be renamed SpaceXSI, replacing artificial intelligence with the phrase super intelligence. He wrote, No more AI, SI it’s better, and later confirmed the proposed name change. According to Bangladesh based outlet bdnews24, the account had not yet changed its name, so the rebrand is announced but not fully implemented.

Musk also suffered a setback in his long running fight with OpenAI. The Daily Star reports that OpenAI’s board unanimously rejected his 97.4 billion dollar takeover offer, saying the company was not for sale. Musk had said he would withdraw the bid if OpenAI returned to a nonprofit structure.

The social media Musk remains unmistakable. Several outlets reported that his October first post declaring Instagram is for girls reignited his feud with Meta and drew widespread reaction. It was a provocative jab, not a new business announcement.

Finally, he is facing a fresh public spotlight. Forbes reports that a nearly four hour documentary about him opens this month. Musk has called it false, attacked filmmaker Alex Gibney, and threatened a defamation lawsuit. Those legal threats are reported, but no lawsuit was confirmed in the available coverage.
