This week on OBS Obsessed I'm talking about some use cases for OBS Studio for podcasters and podcasting.
I realise there's a bit of sensitivity around the definition of "podcasting" is in 2025, whether to do video or not, and I don't really intend to get into that...
What I do want to give you, though, is some tools to add to your toolbox that can reach for whenever you feel they are appropriate.
Let's talk about:
Recording your own side of a conversation or interview (video and audio, or just audio) for content, clips and repurposing
Changing how you show up on webcam to incorporate some of your podcast's branding and calls to action
Working with a virtual camera that doesn't necessarily have to feature you on camera (image overlays, audio visualizers and other things)
