Sound of Nature - Romie Goedicke den Hertog (UNEP FI)

Dela

In this episode of Sound of Nature, I talk with Romie Goedicke den Hertog from United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI). We met in London to reflect on the lessons learnt in 2025 and to look ahead to what 2026 may bring.

Our conversation centred on sustainable finance and a fundamental paradox of today’s economy. We are deeply dependent on nature, yet nature is still largely absent from financial decision making. It is treated as an externality rather than as the foundation of value creation.
