Kris Haraldson is an herbalist, shadow work coach, teacher, healer and general badass who loves helping women wake up to realizing they don't need to be anyone other than who they are. Kris walks us through her early quest to understand stories about women, how we conceptualize ourselves and how we can break free. Her life has been guided by the questions:
What are the stories we carry and how do they impact us?
How does other people's reaction to our stories impact our sense of self?
What about the stories we inherit from religion, the overculture, etc?
Kris was in the throes of studying psychology in a very cerebral academic setting when she started having visions that she had no context for. Sitting in her graduate classes flashes of quietly gathering plant medicines while feeling at peace and connected filled her mind's eye.
This eventually lead to Goddess worship which helped her reconstruct an identity of womanhood that included the arts of herbalism, shamanism, energy work and intuitive work. Her experiences blew open her little researcher brain in ways she could not explain. It rooted her into her body then guided her into the terrain of shadow work.
