Dogs and children - how to prevent bite incidents?

Around 50% of all dog bite victims are children, and in the vast majority of cases (89-90%), the biting dog is one the child knows well: a family pet, or a dog belonging to neighbors, relatives, or friends. In this episode we're talking about dogs and children: a heated topic that touches so many families. We share our own experience with one dog who is comfortable around children, and another one who does not want them in her space: how we navigate their preferences and people's expectations.  We discuss why bites happens, why reading a dog's body language should be mandatory knowledge for every parent, and share advice on management and safety rules,.
