One of the most dangerous deviations in Islamic history is the practice of declaring Muslims to be disbelievers without clear, sound, and scholarly evidence. The Khawārij became known for this excess — rushing to takfīr based on misunderstandings, emotions, and corrupt principles.
Takfīr is not a slogan, nor a tool for disputes — it is a grave ruling with immense consequences. Ahl al-Sunnah have always emphasized caution, justice, and returning such matters to qualified scholars.
