Her path was fraught with obstacles, including homelessness and the struggle to balance education with caregiving. Yet, she persevered, earning her degrees and becoming a voice for healing and change. Through self-publishing her latest book, "Taking My Voice Back," she shares her story on her terms, focusing on healing rather than trauma. Her journey is one of breaking generational cycles, finding peace, and inspiring others to pursue their own paths of healing and growth.
