I would love to know what you are currently memorizing!

We add a new Scripture memory verse from Romans 8 and practice it together until it feels speakable and clear. We also dig into what it means for the Spirit of God to live in us and let that truth press into the hidden places of our hearts.
• Welcoming you back and setting up the Scripture Memory Review format
• Reading Romans 8:9 and making simple observations
• Studying the word “live” and what it means to dwell or reside
• Connecting cross references on what dwells within us
• Breaking the verse into phrases to make memorizing easier
• Practicing active memorization through repeated read aloud review
• Reflecting on what our “house” looks like if God dwells within

Observations Questions

  1. Do you see a contrast or comparison in the verse?
  2. Are there any words that you need to understand better?
  3. Is there a term of conclusion used?
  4. Are there any repeated words or phrases?
  5. Can you ask the 5 W’s and an H—who, what, when, where, why, and how?
