Launching in early 2027, the Liberty Film Festival is New York City’s first intercollegiate film festival for student filmmakers, by student filmmakers. Festival directors Kallen Ellis Zborovsky-Fenster and Evan O'Rourke walk us through how the festival came to be, why now more than ever we should be paying attention to younger filmmakers, and how lines between content creator and filmmaker are blurring.
