Strap it, because this film is a genuine hoot. From an over saturation of violence, to some genuine freaky kinks on display, Tokyo Gore Police is a film that doesn’t make a lick of sense and that’ just alright with us! We talk about this films love for practical effects; no surprise being the feature debut of Tokyo’s FX wizard, director Yoshihiro Nishimura, and how it frolics in its own depravity. We also can’t help but note the steadied hand by actor Eihi Shiina who brings a genuine intensity to an otherwise fever dream of a movie. This movie is insane, and you will be too!
