On this episode of Stock Movers:

-Thermo Fisher Scientific (TMO) shares rise. The life science company posted adjusted profit for the second quarter that topped Wall Street’s expectations. Evercore ISI says the results should reassure investors that the life science tool (LST) end markets are improving.

-Albertsons (ACI) shares tanked Thursday after the grocer cut its annual profit guidance, as it seeks to accelerate investments in response to softer consumer demand and a competitive environment.

-T-Mobile (TMUS) shares fall.  T-Mobile US Inc. reported revenue that missed analysts’ estimates amid modest gains in subscribers, disappointing Wall Street’s high expectations. The company booked 277,000 net account additions, which was down 13% from a year earlier but still topped Wall Street’s projections.
