- A post-election slide in chipmakers snowballed as investors bailed from technology shares on speculation that congressional Democrats will clamp down on the artificial-intelligence industry. Shares of memory chip supplier Sandisk (SNDK) fell nearly 18% as of 3pm New York time. CoreWeave (CRWV) shares fell fell nearly 20%. 

- AppLovin (APP) shares are still rallying after the mobile-app marketing company delivered results that beat expectations and gave an outlook above the analyst consensus estimate after the close of trading on Wednesday.
