Welcome to the very first episode of a brand new series on The Joy Broadcast!
After celebrating 100 episodes, I wanted to do something different. This series brings together a collective of incredible people whose work and modalities have helped me on my own journey back to joy. Manifestation. Visualisation. Energy work. Sound healing. All the things the corporate version of me would have rolled her eyes at a decade ago. Each episode, you’ll meet one of the teachers who showed up exactly when I needed them, and you’ll hear how their tools could help you too.
And who better to open the series than the woman who gave me one of the most powerful experiences of my life?
At Manifest in 2025, Victoria Jackson guided a room full of us through a visualisation that brought me to ugly, glorious tears. I saw the beach house. The curtains blowing in the wind. My husband surrounded by our grandchildren. A wall of photographs from a life well lived. It wasn’t a daydream. It felt like a memory of my future.
Victoria was once the biggest cynic. A menswear magazine editor travelling the world, meeting Vivienne Westwood and Tom Ford, invited to Downing Street, and deeply unhappy. Crying on the M62, hair falling out, heart racing. When a friend suggested The Secret, she thought it was absolute rubbish. Then something clicked. Gratitude. A pink feather in an envelope. £125, to the exact pound. And the morning she told her colleagues she’d manifested her way out of her job, the whole department was made redundant by lunchtime.
Today, Victoria is the founder of The Manifestation Collective, an author of three books, and a self-confessed “slow manifester”. Together we explore why detachment speeds things up, why you must become the person who can hold the magic rather than simply receive it, and how visualisation works as a dress rehearsal for who you’re becoming.
Cynic or believer, this one is for you.
In this episode we explore
- Why gratitude is the foundation of all joy, and how it shifted everything on Victoria’s daily commute
- The pink feather, the £125 and the redundancy: what rapid manifestation taught her about detachment
- Being a “slow manifester” and the four year journey from Instagram story to speaking at Happy Place Festival
- Why you need to become the person who holds the magic, the money and the love
- The microwave generation: chasing the feeling rather than the thing
- The biggest blocks to manifestation: fear of failure, worthiness and money that never feels safe to keep
- Visualisation as dress rehearsal, and why athletes use it to win
- Self-concept work for health and money, including the dream weight on the scales
- Victoria’s Human Design as a 3/5 Manifestor and why she needed the science
- Romanticising your life: the five star turndown service you can give yourself tonight
