The St. Louis Blues are starting to find their rhythm! After back-to-back impressive victories, including a dominant 7-2 win over the Ottawa Senators and a shutout of the Dallas Stars, are the Blues proving they can be a legitimate playoff contender in the loaded Western Conference?
On this episode of Blues Central, Joe Roderick and Claibs break down the Blues' recent turnaround, the offensive explosion against Ottawa, and the players who need to step up as injuries begin to test the team's depth. With Dylan Holloway still searching for his first goal and expectations rising for Robert Thomas, who needs to take their game to the next level?
The guys also discuss Jim Montgomery's job security, the impact of young players getting opportunities, the importance of strong goaltending from Joel Hofer, and whether the Blues have enough talent to compete with Western Conference powerhouses like Colorado and Vegas.
Plus, with matchups against Minnesota and Nashville ahead and a five-game homestand on the horizon, can the Blues build momentum and establish themselves as a serious playoff threat?
