Clemons Poindexter has been playing drums since he was two years old, starting in the church in Chicago before branching into just about every genre he could get his hands on. Today he's known as the touring drummer for Khalid, holding down the groove on some of the biggest stages in pop and R&B. In this episode, Clemons talks about his path from gospel drumming to touring with a major pop artist, what it takes to build a groove that serves the song and the singer, and life on the road as a professional touring musician.
