This week, Nate and Jesse are joined by a very special guest, Jay from Bayway!
Jay hops onto the podcast while on the road with No Cure, Big Ass Truck and Boltcutter. The guys talk about live shows, the energy that Bayway brings to each tour, despite often being the "odd duck" on the ticket. Jay also talks about Hellfest, and how the payoff after months of planning and re-planning was so huge and those who made it this past year know how special of a time it was.
As a dad, Jay has made some major decisions for the benefit of his family, including making the decision to get sober, almost three years ago now. It's not an easy thing to switch from "Jay from Bayway Mode" while on tour, fronting a hardcore band, to "Dad Mode" when he gets home to mulch the lawn and get the backyard ready for graduation parties, but Jay's here for every minute of it.
At the end, Jay makes his honorary addition to the Dads Who Mosh Playlist with the song "Anger" by Downset.
