Episode 93: Kissing Babies and Eating Hot Dogs on the Campaign Trail

TONIGHT ON MURDER, SHE WROTE, Petra and Viktor explore the (non-Manchurian) candidate Kathleen Lane (Shirley Jones) as she combats sleaze and innuendo on the campaign trail. 

Accused of inexperience, adultery, and minimizing her doting husband's (Eddie Albert) finances, Kathleen looks to pal Jessica Fletcher (Angela Lansbury) to lean on between the slings and arrows. 

Jessica is there, of course, when the inevitable murder derails the prep for the primaries, and they face the question of who has the most to gain from the corpse. 

George Grizzard is our unscrupulous talk show host, Peter Fox is the lecherous campaign manager, Robert Fuller is the opponent, Daphne Reid is the numbers analyst, and Robin Bach is our favorite bitchy queen behind a desk.
