Ep 45 - Fabricated Urgency Vs Urgency That Can Restore Order in Your Body

"I need this to happen right now!" - you may have experienced saying a version of this when referring to a symptom or a wellbeing situation.

We deal with urgencies, real-and perceived, all the time in our day-to-day. But they're not all the same.

In this episode we dive into the topic of Urgency as it applies to our healing and our relationship to our body.

I discuss two types of urgency that we might come across.

We look at "fabricated urgency" - usually rooted in us believing that we'll "miss out" if we don't do X or Y, and this will usually have an external pull.

A different kind of urgency, that may feel quieter in your body, is an invitation to take action to restore order, to reestablish a rhythm, to return to what is nourishing.

The common problem I see is that we tend to spend more time tending to false or fabricated urgencies and we tend to indefinitely postpone the True ones that come as quieter signals from our body asking to return to balance - when the ask is actually for *today* and *this moment*, not for *someday*.
