I decided to record a video for this post because it’s hard to convey all that in text form. As Marshall McLuhan used to say, the medium is the message, so a video is more effective than text this time. I’m glad Substack supports it all!
The trick is to use the camera’s mobile app and configure accessibility shortcuts to control your phone with voice. From there, you gain a live preview and the ability to press the shutter button with a spoken keyword.
In my case, the keyword was “Click.”
Let me know if you try this trick on your own, and let me know what trigger word you chose for the task :)
