Changing your situation doesn't simply mean wanting more money. It means making different decisions with the resources you already have: your time, your attention, your energy, your habits, and your ability to choose. This also requires honestly acknowledging that not everything depends on you; there are circumstances you can't control. Stoicism never denied that reality; its real challenge was different: not letting what you can't govern destroy what you can build. Don't walk away thinking you must change your entire life tomorrow. Choose one single renunciation, something you consume, postpone, or protect too much. And prove to yourself, with one concrete decision, that you're willing to sacrifice whatever is holding you back.
