First, The plaintiff says the defendant is her stepdaughter, and the co-defendant is her stepdaughter’s abusive boyfriend. She alleges the man even refused to sign their child’s birth certificate. Plus, The plaintiff says she’s known the defendant for years and they used to be close. She says she loaned her friend some cash, and she did repay some of it, but the plaintiff is suing for the $50 balance due. The defendant says she is devastated that her friend is suing her.
