On a Friday morning in July of 2014, Dan Markel dropped his sons at daycare, went to the gym, and pulled into his garage in Tallahassee. A neighbor heard two shots and called 911 within two minutes. Because Dan Markel was a law professor in the middle of a custody fight. One his ex-wife's family very much wanted to end.
