Conspiritainment: Why the Truther Community Is Stuck in a Loop (and the Way Out)
I offer constructive criticism of the truther community, arguing that it repeatedly doom-loops on celebrity “sacrifice” narratives—decoding symbolism, numerology, and alleged occult signs after each death (using Oliver Tree as an example)—but then forgets and moves on without change, becoming desensitised and even symbiotic with the mainstream’s ritualised attention cycle. I warn that bad actors, controlled opposition, and ego-driven “content” turn research into entertainment and splinter movements, while Gnostic and New Age ideas remove God and mislead people into thinking knowledge saves them. I argue Christians should be set apart, stop obsessing over death and symbols, focus on Jesus as the bottom of every rabbit hole, and pursue deprogramming, holiness, responsibility, and real transformation through God rather than endless decoding.
