In our previous episode, we witnessed the long-awaited return of Ram to Ayodhya. We saw Bharat welcome his brother with tears of joy and return the kingdom he had protected for fourteen years. We witnessed the reunion of the four brothers and the emotional meeting with their mothers. We saw Ram honor Sugreev, Vibhishan, Hanuman, and all those who had stood beside him through the war. And finally, we witnessed Ram's grand coronation, as he took his rightful place as king of Ayodhya. We also saw the beautiful moment when Sita gave Hanuman the precious necklace of moti. When Hanuman broke the pearls looking for Ram, everyone was surprised. But when he opened his heart and showed that Shri Ram lived within him, the entire assembly understood the depth of his devotion. We then saw the Vanars and Vibhishan return to their kingdoms, carrying the memories of their journey with them. Bharat was appointed Prince Regent, and Ram began a reign remembered as Ram Rajya, an age of peace, justice, prosperity, and dharm.

In this episode as we close Yuddha Kanda, we stand at the end of one of the greatest journeys in the Ramayan. This Kanda began on the shores of the ocean. Ram had finally learned that Sita was alive in Lanka. Hanuman had seen her with his own eyes. He had spoken to her, given her Ram’s message, and returned with her Chudamani as proof. After months of uncertainty, Ram now knew where Sita was.
